Consignment Policies
Our goal is to resell your new and gently used items.
Please bring items in excellent condition, in season, current styles, pressed and on hangers.
It is your responsibility to inquire about your consignment account.
We do not call when an item is sold or before it is donated.
Merchandise is priced and is discounted at Carefree Consignment's discretion.
We cannot guarantee pricing.
Items unsold after 90 days and not picked up by consigners are donated to charity.
Items that do not meet our consignment criteria -- including items with spots, stains,
missing buttons and holes -- may be donated immediately.
Items may be reclaimed near the end of the 90-day consignment period.
Items not reclaimed become the property of Carefree Consignment and may be donated to charity.
Carefree Consignment donates clothing items to a number of local charities.
Consigners may pick up charity receipts at the end of the year.
The Consigner receives 45% of the selling price.
Consigners may be paid by check, cash or store credit.
We appreciate your business. We do our best to protect your items,
but we cannot be held responsible for loss, theft or damage.
